Yikes, this reminds me that I also need to get to the cemeteries in Scott and Carencro, Louisiana, where most of my Trahan/Prejean ancestors are buried, before I leave for North Carolina!
How fabulous. I have never seen the like anywhere I have done cemetery work. Especially in color.
What a sweet little angel. I love the little baby folds in her "skin." Is she on the grave of an infant?
Nancy, it was either the grave of an infant or child. I did not take a picture of the marker but I remember it was in a babyland-type section.
Nice photo - i guess it was a later addition to the grave and not there from the initial laying of the gravestone.
