52 Weeks of Personal Genealogy & History

Well, the cat is out of the bag. We spend so much time writing about others, I figured it was time to write about us as a gift to our own descendants.

My new genealogy series is 52 Weeks of Personal Genealogy & History, and it's once again graciously hosted by Geneabloggers.com.

I hope you like it and do take the time to write down the details of your own life.

Please make this a fun event. Don't get upset if you don't do all 52 weeks. That was never the intention.

    I was so excited to see the new "52 weeks" theme! I already know that I won't post for all 52 of them - but I like the idea of using them as questions for my parents. Thanks for taking the time to think of these of all of us!

    I had just posted today that I should write about living in Asia and Europe when we were first married. I wish at the time I had kept a diary. This was 1975-1978 and if I had done it today I would have written a blog about it.

    I enjoyed doing my Christmas memories this year and I'm going to take part in this year long challenge. Hopefully I will be getting back to a regular schedule after the holiday break.

    Great idea Amy. Don't I wish my mom had left a journal filled with answers to such questions?

    Thanks for a great idea! Like Family Curator I'll probably blog on some topics and do the others off-line. My plan is to put it together as a gift for my family for Xmas 2011.

    Thank you for having such a wonderful idea! I need this -- my own poor family's story is being neglected, with me doing all this research about St. Augustine, FL, 200 years ago!

    Now I have no excuse for neglecting mine!
