In the Spotlight: Ernie's Journeys

I don't normally play favorites in the blog love department because each blog deserves attention for all of the hard work that's put into it. However, I'm going to make an exception and move Ernest Margheim to the front of the class.

He is the author of the Ernie's Journeys blog. He is also a great storyteller sharing bits of his life from the last 87 years. Yes, I said 87 years.

I encourage you to put Ernie's Journeys on your list. It's like a living history book only funner and with better pictures.

  1. I absolutely agree with everything you have said and then some! It's my new mantra when people around me are complaining about having to learn something new. I say, "My favorite blog is written by someone who is 87 - and it's fantastic!! So shut up and learn something new already!" ;-)

Ernie is giving us all a wonderful present with his stories.

  2. I'm enjoying Ernie's posts tremendously, and they remind me of memories I had almost forgotten. And I'm so impressed that he is on Facebook.

  3. I must say a great big thank you for honoring my Dad in such a nice way! My goodness! I don't think he's tried leaving "comments" yet, so tomorrow when I see him I'll show him how. Watch for his comment. (I just showed him how to put his blog list on his blog today and I see he did it already). He's a humble man---hope he posts a comment. But Amy thank you so much for your gracious endorsement! I'm going to have to print it out for my scrapbook!

  4. Amy, thank you for recommending "Ernie's Journeys," and it fits your description perfectly. I just hope I can remember things like Ernie can when I am 87!
